Surprisingly good February 25, 2009 Reviewer:  Patty St. George (Boston, MA)  See all my reviews >

After reading the reviews and seeing the toaster in store, I was skeptical. I bought it for my mother and she couldn't be more pleased with the toasting quality, the toast adjustments for bagles and larger slices and the color. It is on a price cut now, so I don't know if I would have been convinced to buy at its regular full price.

Best Toaster Ever! January 5, 2007 Reviewer:  jennynd "Jenny" (Fargo, ND)  See all my reviews >

This toaster has served us well for nearly 3 years with no problems. The controls are all solid and the popping mechanism is too so the toaster doesn't feel like it is going to fall apart when you use it like some others do. I've never had a problem with burnt toast because the temperature dial actually works It has four different settings for toast, bagel, frozen, and warm which actually live up to their promise... even frozen Eggo waffles don't come out uneven. I put english muffins on the bagel setting and it works great. To top it all off, it looks great, the stainless steel is not hard to keep clean, and it fits nicely on the counter without taking up a bunch of extra room. I wouldn't consider any other toaster but this one!

Looks great; performance is OK January 19, 2009 Reviewer:  Musicbookfan See all my reviews >

For style I give this toaster 5 stars; for performance 3 stars - so 4 stars overall.
It's a snazzy looking toaster. The rounded retro style and darker, almost cherry, metallic red looks great! There's four push button settings: frozen, toast, warm, and bagel. We rarely use the settings, although I have used "frozen" for a freezer waffle and didn't really notice much difference in how it was toasted.

My only big issue with the toaster is the dial for setting the heat level. It's nearly impossible to tell which setting it's pointing to, because the "pointer" on the dial is just a raised line. If that line was red, it would be 100% easier to see which number the setting is pointing to. This makes a difference if more than one person is using this toaster and changing the setting, which results in the next person using it either having burnt toast, undercooked toast, or perfect toast - depending on if the dial has been moved and you can't tell.

It's a very sharp looking toaster - definitely an addition to the kitchen in a decorative sense. If your kitchen is retro and/or red, you'll really love how this toaster looks. Once you figure out the heal level setting number that works for how you want your toast, etc. cooked, it works well. Although there is some definite inconsistency in toasting level from one use to another.

Love the Red December 31, 2008 Reviewer:  MiaMiaMoa "Mia" (Sunny Florida)  See all my reviews >

I purchased this toaster a while back at Target because of the color. My kitchen is retro so I thought it would look perfect. It does! The problem is it never cooks toast the same way twice. It's either underdone or overcooked. I am going out today to purchase a new toaster (Hamilton) unfortunately it might not be red. Hopefully it will work better.

Works for us! December 21, 2008 Reviewer:  Marisa S. (Salt Lake City, UT)  See all my reviews >

This toaster was a wedding gift for us over four years ago... although not a pricey toaster it has worked really well for us! We were surprised it has lasted this long and after reading all the other reviews I guess we should be even more surprised! We love it for our little family and hope it lasts longer... but for the price we are happy with how it's done!

looks nice but works horrible November 16, 2008 Reviewer:  R. Blair Real Name (Orlando,FL)  See all my reviews >

loved the look of the toaster but the performance of it was great for about 5 months. then the inside of the toaster started burning. we had a burning plastic smell when we tried to make toast. realized in the inside of the toaster was about to catch on fire. so don't bother buying it.

WORKED GREAT for about a year.... October 30, 2008 Reviewer:  Hippie Mom of Two (Greenbrier, TN)  See all my reviews >

...then it just didn't "pop" one day... I tried the CANCEL button...nothing...I tried forcing the lever up...nothing. I finally had to unplug it from the wall in order to get my kids' toaster strudel out!!! it definitely looks cool, but I would not purchase another one or recommend this toaster. plus, the red color gets old.

My Favorite Toaster April 23, 2009 Reviewer:  Shellynet (Tampa Bay Area, FL)  See all my reviews >

We received this toaster as a wedding gift in 2006. I have never had a single problem with it. It works great and looks fantastic. I love the curved lines and the metallic red finish. After three years, I'm just as happy with it now as I was on day one. Most toasters are pretty boring but this one is easy to use and looks great in my kitchen. :)

Very cute, but not the greatest December 28, 2008 Reviewer:  Jimzgirl (Southern Calif.)  See all my reviews >

I bought this toaster a few years ago because of the red color. It works okay, but I've had much better toasters. The setting for lighter/darker toast never works consistently and I either get undercooked toast or burnt toast. I've never had any problems with the pop-up mechanism like others, but I don't use my toaster very often. I would recommend this toaster to anyone who is patient enough to keep checking the toast so it doesn't burn.

Works Great! September 26, 2008 Reviewer:  Target Mom "Rebecca M." (Southern CA)  See all my reviews >

I've had this toaster for quite some time and it works great! The first one we had did stop working for no reason, but I exchanged it and the new one has been working fine. It looks great on the counter and everyone says, 'Cool toaster!'.
